With all the final counting done and all monies collected – the Inaugural Orange Masquerade Ball has raised a whopping £7,600, which includes gift aid.

A big thanks to everyone who attended on the night, and a special mention to event partner Alston Hill and everyone who donated a prize to the raffle.

Founder Michael Gregory said: “I was incredibly nervous about how the night would go, but the organising committee did a wonderful job, and we had so much good feedback about the event. Everyone looked very glamorous, and there were some fantastic masks on display.
“I thought Paul Guard did a fantastic job of setting the tone for the evening, and he even established an impromptu Orange Foundation Male Choir – such good fun. The Flip Band played their part in ensuring the dancefloor was packed.
“More importantly, we exceeded our expectations regarding funds raised – I’m so very grateful to everyone who attended and supported the event.
“We got numerous emails after the event when the next one would be, so that’s a great sign that people had a wonderful time.”
